Thuringian-french organ days
Thuringian-french organ days to be held for the first time this year in the neustadt and sonneberg area. A total of four concerts, including a church service, are to take place from the 15th to the 15th. Until 17. April will shed light on the region's organ landscape and bring to life the connections that can be traced across the state borders of thuringia and bavaria. Initiators of these organ days are the cantors markus heunisch (neustadt) and martin hutterott (sonneberg), who will also give guest performances as soloists in the sonneberg and neustadt areas in turn.
For the franco-thuringian connections one need only refer to the building history of the town churches of neustadt and sonneberg, but also to the history of the organs in the region.
With the thuringian-french organ days, a focal point of church music in the easter season of joy is thus created, based on the organ, the main instrument of the churches established. Markus heunisch and martin hutterott got artistic support for the organ days.
Thus immanuel roessler, district cantor from waiblingen, performs in the final concert on 17. April with. Instrumental soloist at opening concert on 15. April in the erloserkirche mengersgereuth-hammern is the violinist frithjof greiner, who will perform together with markus heunisch.
According to the organizers, the aim of the cross-country organ days is to highlight the diversity of church music, which has its origins in the region's extremely varied organs, through other instruments in the church to high-level chamber choir singing."
